These Terms apply to use of the Eatery Margaret River website and to visits, enquiries and bookings connected with our offline poker venue experiences, including the Poker Room, Card Lounge, poker-table reservations, scheduled activity where offered, private events and supporting restaurant services.

Effective date 23 September 2026

Using these Terms

Acceptance by use, visit or booking

When you use the website, make an enquiry or reservation, attend the venue, or take part in an available activity, you agree to comply with these Terms. They apply to both online use and in-person visits connected with Eatery Margaret River’s offline poker experience, including the Poker Room and Card Lounge. A reservation or event request may also be subject to information and conditions provided during the relevant booking process, so please read that material before you proceed.

Additional terms where relevant

Some services may have supplementary conditions, instructions or attendance requirements when they are made available. This may include poker-table reservations, private events, restaurant bookings and poker nights, poker games or tournaments where scheduled. Those details are intended to help you plan for the particular service or session. Please review them before confirming participation, particularly where capacity, timing, venue use or event arrangements may affect your visit.

Adult access and venue conduct

Venue conduct

Respectful shared play

Visitors must act respectfully toward other players, guests and staff in the Poker Room, Card Lounge and associated venue areas. This includes avoiding harassment, threatening behaviour, disruptive conduct and interference with another person’s reasonable use of a table or shared space. Face-to-face poker involves real players, professional tables and physical cards, so calm consideration is important. Please follow reasonable staff directions intended to maintain a safe, orderly and welcoming venue environment.

Care for tables, cards and venue property

Please use physical cards, poker tables, furnishings and other venue facilities with reasonable care. Follow reasonable instructions about the use of poker spaces and supporting hospitality areas, including the restaurant where relevant to your visit. If accidental damage occurs, or you notice a concern affecting a table, card set or venue facility, let a staff member know promptly so the matter can be addressed appropriately.

Reservations, scheduled activity and private events

Table reservation requests

A poker-table reservation or enquiry is subject to venue confirmation and available capacity. Please provide accurate contact and attendance information when making a request, as this assists the venue in considering the arrangement. A request should not be treated as confirmed until confirmation is provided by Eatery Margaret River. Availability can depend on planned venue use, existing reservations, session arrangements and other practical considerations relevant to the requested time.

When scheduled

Scheduled poker activity

Poker nights, poker games and poker tournaments may be offered when scheduled. Any scheduled activity is subject to venue information, capacity and applicable conditions communicated for that session. Check the relevant session details before attending so you understand the practical arrangements that apply. Game formats, table procedures, dealer arrangements and tournament details are not guaranteed unless they are specifically confirmed as part of the scheduled activity.

Changes to a session or booking

Where reasonably necessary for capacity, safety, operational or other practical reasons, Eatery Margaret River may alter, postpone or decline a booking or scheduled activity. Please check messages and information supplied about your reservation before attending, as these may contain the most relevant practical updates for your visit.

Poker Room and Card Lounge participation

Availability of spaces and tables

Access to the Poker Room, Card Lounge and professional poker tables depends on capacity, reservations, venue operations and any applicable session arrangements. Particular tables, seats or spaces cannot be guaranteed unless expressly confirmed by the venue. The venue’s poker spaces are designed for physical, face-to-face play, but their practical use can vary with the needs of a scheduled session, a private event or normal operational requirements.

Game and table arrangements

Participation arrangements, table procedures and any game-specific guidance may be communicated at the venue or in scheduled activity details where applicable. Please follow reasonable instructions supplied for a table or session. References to dealers, particular game formats or tournament arrangements apply only where those features are offered and confirmed. These Terms do not set out rules of poker or create a promise that any particular game, table format or activity will be available on a given visit.

Staff directions and access decisions

Reasonable directions may be given to support orderly, safe and respectful use of the venue. Access to a space or participation in an activity may be limited where conduct, capacity, safety or surrounding circumstances make that necessary. This is intended to protect the shared experience of visitors using the Poker Room, Card Lounge and associated areas, without suggesting that a particular staffing arrangement applies at every table.

Restaurant and supporting hospitality services

Food, beverage and guest conduct

When using restaurant or hospitality areas, including when moving between dining and poker spaces, please follow reasonable staff guidance and applicable venue requirements. Guests are expected to maintain the same respectful, adult-focused approach described in these Terms. Service arrangements may vary, and nothing in these Terms implies a particular food, beverage, dietary or hospitality service model.

Website use, information and external links

Permitted website use

You may use this website for personal, lawful purposes, including learning about the venue and making legitimate enquiries or reservation requests. You must not interfere with the website’s operation, use it in an unlawful way, introduce malicious code or attempt to access restricted areas. These boundaries help keep the site useful for adults planning a visit to the Poker Room, Card Lounge or supporting restaurant services.

Content accuracy and changes

Information about the venue, scheduled poker activity, restaurant services and website content may change. Where information is important to your plans, check with the venue before relying on it, especially for table availability or poker nights, games and tournaments that may only be offered when scheduled. We aim to present useful practical information, but do not represent that every item will remain current in every circumstance.

Intellectual property and third-party links

Website content and Eatery Margaret River branding must not be copied, reproduced or reused without permission, except where applicable law allows it. If an external link is provided, the linked destination is operated by its own provider and subject to that provider’s own terms. We are not responsible for the content, availability or practices of external destinations.

Liability, personal property and legal framework

Practical responsibility

Personal property and personal responsibility

Please take reasonable care of your personal belongings and act responsibly while attending the venue or participating in available activities. The physical environment includes shared poker and hospitality spaces, so visitors should keep their possessions appropriately attended and make practical decisions that suit their own circumstances. This guidance does not limit any responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Applicable law and resolving concerns

These Terms are intended to operate under applicable laws of Western Australia. If you have a concern about how they apply to a planned visit, booking or venue activity, please raise it directly with the venue first where practical. This allows a question to be considered in its relevant context before further steps are contemplated.
